Chattogram University (CU) has expelled 18 students for different terms for breach of discipline.



Chattogram University (CU) has expelled 18 students for different terms for breach of discipline.

Sources said 17 students are activists of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Chattogram University unit.

The university authority issued a press release in this regard on Tuesday midnight.

University Proctor Dr Rabiul Hasan confirmed the news on Wednesday morning.

We have expelled 18 students for different terms on the recommendation of the Board of Residence Health and Disciplinary Committee of the university, as we found proof of their involvement in various incidents including vandalism and clash, he said.
