PCIU holds Annual sports competition

Annual Sports Competition and Prize Distribution Ceremony 2024 of Port City International University was held on Thursday at the university's permanent campus at Kolpolok Residential in Chattogram city.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Nural Anwar said, ''Like modern education is needed for intellectual development, sports are needed for physical fitness. The competition is part of the year-round activities conducted by PCIU for the physical and mental development of the students.''

Member of the Board of Trustees and Academic and Administrative Advisor of the University Professor Dr M Mujibur Rahman, Member of the Board of Trustees Saifuzzaman Shekhar, Md Ali Azam Shopan, Mahfuzul Haider Chaudhary Roton, Treasurer of the University Professor Dr Ganesh Chandra Roy, Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering Prof Dr Engineer Mofazal Ahmed, Dean of Business Administration Department Prof Dr Fasiul Alam, Dean of Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law Prof Mainul Hasan Chowdhury, University Registrar Md Obaidur Rahman, Controller of Examinations Md Salim Hossain, Proctor SM Osman Gani along with the president of all departments, teachers-students, officers and staff were present at the event.
