Authority of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) has extended suspension of academic activities in physical presence till February 21 next complying with the government decision to contain Covid-19 spread.

“However, classes, examinations and the admission process will continue using online facilities, said a press release tonight.

Earlier, the university suspended all academic activities in physical presence till February 6, 2022 as per a decision taken at an emergency virtual meeting of the academic council of BRUR arranged on January 22 last.

Offices of the university will remain open on a limited scale from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm through following the health directives of the government.

The residential halls will also remain open by ensuring abidance of the health directives.

All activities for the admission process in the first year of degree (honors) courses for the 2020-2021 academic sessions online.

“Detailed information regarding admission would be available on the university website (http://admission.brur.ac.bd/notice),” the release added
