Prof. Tayub Chowdhury new CUCSU treasurer

Dr. Mohammad Tayub Chowdhury, Professor of Chittagong University's Marketing Department and Dean of Business Administration Faculty has been appointed as the treasurer of the Chittagong University Central Student Union (CUCSU). 


The appointment was announced in a press release signed by Deputy Registrar (Information and Photography) Khandaker Muazzam Hossain today.

Dr. Mohammad Tayub Chowdhury formally joined the position on October 30 (Thursday). As per the CUCSU constitution, he has been appointed for a one-year term by CUCSU President and Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Muhammad Yeahia Akhter.

The press release also said that former CUCSU Treasurer and University’s Proctor Professor Dr. Hossain Shahid Shohrowardhy officially handed over the responsibilities to the newly appointed treasurer, reports BSS.
