Department of Business Administration of Varendra University (VU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) here today.

The MoU signing ceremony was held in a formal and cordial atmosphere at the Board Room of VU.

Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Khademul Islam Mollah and USIM Associate Prof Norhayati Rafida Abdul Rahim signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides.

Through this MoU, stakeholders expressed hope that academic cooperation between the two universities will be strengthened together with conducting research activities and introducing exchange of faculty and student programmes.

Curriculum development and creation of new opportunities for the exchange of academic and cultural experiences at the international level are also salient features of the initiative.

As a result, new horizons will open for students and faculty members of both institutions to engage in international-standard education and research.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the guests described the MoU as a foundation for a long-term, effective, and fruitful academic partnership between the two institutions and expressed optimism about further expanding joint education and research initiatives in the future, reports BSS.
