282 freedom fighters get certificates, ID cards in Patuakhali
A total of 282 freedom fighters of Sadar upazila in Patuakhali district have been given digital certificates and smart identity (ID) cards.
A total of 282 freedom fighters of Sadar upazila in Patuakhali district have been given digital certificates and smart identity (ID) cards obtained from the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.
Patuakahli DC Md Kamal Hossain handed over those certificates and ID cards among the freedom fighters at a programme held at Patuakhali Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Thursday morning.
The district additional DC Humayun Kabir presided over the programme while district superintendent of police (SP) Md Saidul Islam, district Awami League (AL) president freedom fighter Kazi Alamgir Hossain and general secretary freedom fighter Abdul Mannan and Patuakhali Sadar upazila chairman Golam Sarwar were present as the special guests.
