Anonno Mamun, Bangladeshi Director and importer of the film in Bangladesh, confirmed.
Shah Rukh Khan's latest movie 'Dunki' released in Bangladeshi theaters on Thursday evening.
The audience was able to catch the movie in selected theatres and multiplexes around 7pm, on the same day as the global release, Anonno Mamun, Bangladeshi Director and importer of the film in Bangladesh, confirmed.
The movie will run in 46 movie theaters across the country. Some of them are- Star Cineplex (all brunches), Blockbuster Cinemas, Lion Cinemas, Shyamoli Cinemas, Monihar, BGB Auditorium, Modhumita, Silver Screen, Liberty Cinema, Raj Tilak, CineScope, Grand Movie Theatre - Sylhet, Roots Cineclub, New Gulshan Cinema Hall, etc.
Mamun said: “The censor exhibition of this film is going on. We hope to get an uncut clearance as the movie tells a social story. Dunki will be released at 7:00pm in the Bangladeshi theaters.”
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, and Jyoti Subhash in prominent roles.
The total budget of Dunki is ₹120 crore. This is Shah Rukh's lowest budget in the last half-decade. The box office analysts think that the film will become a superhit by pulling off the investment easily.
The release of Hindi movies in Bangladesh was closed for a long time. Ananya Mamun reopened it with the release of Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster hit film Pathan in May. After that, Shah Rukh’s record-breaking movie Jawan, Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was screened in Bangladeshi theaters.
