Apu Biswas buys AL nomination for reserved seats

Popular actress Apu Biswas has bought the Awami League nomination form for the reserved seats for women in the 12th parliament.

The actress collected the form from Awami League central office in Gulisthan around 12:00pm on Tuesday noon (February 6).

After taking the form, she said, “I bought nomination papers from Bogra district of Rajshahi division. People of my locality have helped me a lot. Please, keep me in your prayers so that I can stand by the people of my area.”

“I feel very privileged to be involved with politics with pro-liberation forces,” she added.

Earlier, the ruling Awami League started selling nomination form for elections to reserved women seats of the 12th Jatiya Sangsad at 10:00am on Tuesday and it will be continued till Thursday (February 8).
