Tamil Star Vijay Hosts Iftar in Chennai During Ramadan
Tamil actor Vijay, who is preparing to launch his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), hosted an Iftar gathering in Chennai on Friday.
Dressed in white with a skullcap, Vijay joined attendees in prayer before breaking their fast during the holy month of Ramadan. A video shared by ANI showed the actor praying alongside others, attentively following the clergy's lead.
Another video circulating online featured Vijay expressing his gratitude to those who attended, praising the strong sense of community at the event. The Iftar was held at the Royapettah YMCA grounds, where Vijay was seen praying and sharing the meal with guests.
Numerous images and videos shared by fans on social media, including X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, showed Vijay interacting with attendees. Fans also gathered outside the venue to catch a glimpse of the actor, with Vijay taking time to greet them before entering the venue.
