IM Jagadees maintains solo lead

Dhaka, 16 Feb - IM Jagadees Siddharth of Singapore maintained his

solo lead in the points table with five points after the sixth round games of LR Global Grandmaster Aspirant 1 Chess Tournament which is now being held at the auditorium of Canadian University of Bangladesh in the city.

In the day's fifth round matches, IM Jagadees Siddharth of Singapore split point with IM Mayank Chakraborty of India and FM Panesar Vedant of India beat GM Dibyendyu Barua of India.

While in the sixth round matches, IM Jagadees Siddharth split point with GM Niaz Murshed, GM Ziaur Rahman split point with FM Panesar Vidant, IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman split point with GM Dibyendu Barua and IM Mayank Chakraborty split point with FM Aradhya Garg.
 
The seventh round matches will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at the same venue.
