FM Neer share second position

Dhaka, 16 Apr- FIDE Master Manon Reja Neer of Bangladesh Navy shared the second position along with other fourteen players with 3.5 points after the fourth round games of the 21st Bangkok Chess Club Open which is now being held in Hua Hin District, Thailand.

The fourth round games were held Tuesday, with Neer split point with Indian International Master M L R Srihari, said a press release.

International Master Abu Sufian Shakil of Bangladesh Biman, FIDE Master Md Taibur Rahman scored 2.5 points, FIDE Master Nayem Haque of Bangladesh Biman scored two points and Tashriq Saihan Shan of Uttara Central Chess Club earned one points after the fourth round games.

In the fourth round games, IM Abu Sufian Shakil beat WFM Mejia Cherry Ann of Philippines, FM Md Taibur Rahman split point with V G Pavan Karthikeya of India and Tashriq Saihan Shan won against Larsen Hans Haagen of Denmark and FM Nayem Haque got half point bye in this round.
