FIDE Rating Women Chess begins tomorrow

Dhaka, 4 May- Begum Laila Alam 14th FIDE Rating Women Chess Competition begins from tomorrow (Sunday) at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room.

Under the patronage of veteran chess player Laila Alam and organised by Bangladesh Chess Federation, the competition will be played in a nine-round Swiss-league format and the winners will be awarded a cash prize of Taka one lakh. 

The top nine players of the competition will get the opportunity to participate in the 42nd National Women's Chess Championship which will be held later stage.
