Fahad makes winning start

Dhaka, 15 May - International master Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh got off to a good start by defeating Turkmenistan's woman FIDE Master Ovezdurdyyeva Jemal in the first round of Sharjah Challenger chess tournament that started Tuesday last evening in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. 

A total of 98 players from thirty eight countries including six grand masters, two women grand masters, twenty one international masters and four women international masters are participating in this event, said a press release.
