Cold wave paralyses life in Rajshahi, Rangpur

Dhaka, Jan 11 - Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and it may continue, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said this morning.   

According to the Met office regular bulletin, “A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and the districts of Jashore and Chuadanga and it may continue.” 

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies over the country, it said 

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. - UNB
