Moderate to thick fog likely across the country over 24 hours

Foggy weather experienced in many districts of Bangladesh



Dhaka, Feb 4 - Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur at places elsewhere in the country in 24 hours till Sunday morning. 

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies across the country, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in its bulletin. 

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged. 

The lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 10.5 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga district in 24 hours till 6 am today. The highest temperature was recorded at 30.8 degrees Celsius in Teknaf during this time. 

A ridge of sub-continental high extends up to India’s Bihar and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over south Bay. - UNB
