Light rain likely in parts of country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) Wednesday predicted rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours.



 Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) Wednesday predicted rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours as of 9am Thursday.
 "Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions," said a met office release.
Besides, moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and southern part and light to moderate fog may occur at places elsewhere over the country during midnight till tomorrow morning.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 31.4 degrees Celsius at Mongla in Khulna division, while the minimum temperature today was 11.4 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 5.49 pm today and rises at 6.36 am tomorrow in the capital.
