Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted mainly dry weather with a chance of light drizzle at places over the country.



Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted mainly dry weather with a chance of light drizzle at places over the country in the next 24 hours from 9am Saturday.
 "Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions," said a met office release here Saturday.
  Light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during early morning, the bulletin added.
However, night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly over Khulna and Barishal divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 31.8 degrees Celsius at Cox's Bazar, while the minimum temperature today was 10.3 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.
 The sun sets at 5.55 pm today and rises at 6.29 am Sunday in the capital.
