HIS MAESTY King Charles III‘s touchy reply to my condolence message on the sad demise of his beloved mother HM Queen Elizabeth II stirred up my mind! The late Queens’s memory is still vivid! Her Majesty was not only a Queen of Great Britain but a global Queen. She was admired and adored by the people around the world for her human and leadership qualities.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in her message of condolences at the passing away of HM Queen Elizabeth said—“To us she was a much admired and respected monarch, to them she was a mother and grandmother”.

The late Queen was not only a good Monarch but a benevolent mother as well and very much caring to her family.

Queen Elizabeth II was blessed with so many good qualities. Her outstanding leadership and diplomatic qualities had earned international name and fame. On leadership, in a speech before the United Nations in 2010, the Queen said—“I know of no single formula for success. But over the years I have observed that some attributes of leadership are universal and are often about finding ways of encouraging people to combine their efforts, their talents, their insights, their enthusiasm and their inspiration to work together.” This observation of the Queen is appropriate for all time!

May God bless eternal peace to the departed soul of our beloved Queen.

Meanwhile immediately after becoming the King of Britain, King Charles started his work for ensuring wellbeing of the Britons as well as to contributing to the world peace and stability.

In many cases, HM King Charles is following his beloved mother Queen Elizabeth’s footprint along with introducing new orders and values for making the Monarch more people oriented, modern and open. King Charles is much accessible at ease smiling and shaking hands with crowds at public events.

Being the Head of the 56-nation Commonwealth, the King has called for unity there to help tackle “the most pressing issues of our time” including Climate Change. King Charles III during his long spent of time as heir to the British Throne has cultivated a range of interests and passions from architecture to the environment. He also takes interest in organic agriculture.

HM King Charles III is sensible and pragmatic and very practical in all areas of his life. To this writer, the most significant characteristics of King Charles are his love and affection to his beloved mother. Throughout the 70 years of reign of his mother, he had very honestly and effectively supported the Queen.

This author takes this opportunity to greet HM King Charles III and HM Queen Camilla and wish for them a very happy and prosperous life. Let the United Kingdom aspire to a new height of progress and prosperity under the prudent and dynamic Kingship of King Charles III.

Meanwhile this writer would like to mention here about a heartfelt wish he and his colleagues have framed to establishing a - "Queen Elizabeth II Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Laboratory" at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka to honoring and preserving the memory of Late Queen Elizabeth II. In this respect a proposal has been sent to His Majesty King Charles III by Prof. Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is sincerely hoped that the letter has by now reached to His Majesty’s Office and receiving due attention.
