Ukraine Drone Strike Kills 7 at Russian Logistics Hub

A Ukrainian drone strike on a logistics centre in western Russia killed seven people and injured 24 others, regional authorities said on Saturday.

Tambov Governor Evgeny Pervyshov said the attack targeted a Wildberries logistics centre in the town of Kotovsk, where employees were working the night shift.

"Seven night-shift employees were killed when enemy UAVs struck the Wildberries logistics centre. According to preliminary information, 24 people were injured," Pervyshov said in a statement.

The governor said the casualty figures were preliminary, and emergency services were continuing rescue and assessment operations at the site.

Ukraine has not immediately commented on the reported attack.

The strike comes amid continuing cross-border drone attacks between Russia and Ukraine, with both sides increasingly targeting military, industrial and logistics infrastructure.
