One Dead, 30 Injured in Ashulia Clash

A garment worker was killed and more than 30 others injured during a clash between workers and law enforcement in the Ashulia industrial area, just outside Dhaka, on Monday.


Three workers were admitted to Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar with gunshot wounds, and one was pronounced dead around 1 PM. The deceased, identified as 27-year-old Kawsar Hossain Khan, was employed at Mango Tex, according to hospital sources.
