54 Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza

At least 54 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday (April 19).

The attacks have targeted multiple areas, including Gaza City, Khan Younis, Beit Lahia, and the Al-Bureij refugee camp. In Khan Younis, eleven people were killed in a strike on three tents sheltering displaced families.

Since the ceasefire ended on March 18, nearly 1,700 Palestinians have died in the ongoing Israeli offensive.

The total siege imposed on Gaza has cut off all humanitarian aid, leaving essential supplies such as food, medicine, and clean water in critical shortage. Aid organizations warn that a famine is already underway.

The Gaza health ministry reports that over 51,000 people have lost their lives in the 18-month conflict, with thousands more believed trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
