DUBAI, (AP/UNB)--Qatar issued a statement condemning the Iranian attack on the airbase on Monday night.

No casualties were reported, added the statement.

Earlier, Iran launched a missile attack on a U.S. military base in Qatar, retaliating for the American bombing of its nuclear sites.

Witnesses reported seeing missiles in the skies, followed by explosions, but it wasn’t clear if there was any damage.

Iran announced on state television that it attacked American forces stationed at Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base.
