All officials and employees of Kashimpur Union Land Office have been suspended after finding prima facie evidence of various irregularities during a sudden inspection.

Deputy Commissioner Md Nurul Karim Bhuiyan on Monday said the action was taken after the inspection revealed initial evidence of misconduct in the office.

The suspended officials and employees are Acting Union Land Assistant Officer Wazed Ali Khan, Office Assistant Mostafa Kamal, Shafiqul Islam Khan and Abdul Halim.

During the morning visit, the DC inspected the Kashimpur Union Land Office and spoke to both the land office staff and people who came to receive services.

After reviewing the situation and finding preliminary evidence of various irregularities, he ordered the suspension of all four officials and employees.

Following the inspection, the DC left for another surprise inspection at the Shafipur Land Office, reports UNB.
