Former official of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Sharif Uddin will not be able to return to his job as the Appellate Division has rejected his writ petition challenging his dismissal order.

Former official of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Sharif Uddin will not be able to return to his job as the Appellate Division has rejected his writ petition challenging his dismissal order.
Lawyers informed this on Thursday morning.
A seven-member bench headed by Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique passed the order.
On February 16 in 2022, Sharif Uddin was sacked under the section 54(2) of Anti-Corruption Commission (Servants) Service Rules-2008.
Later, he filed an appeal petition with the High Court challenging his dismissal from the job. In the petition, Sharif said the commission violated his constitutional right by applying the section. He also urged the HC to reinstate him.
