The Appellate Division has issued a status quo on the procedures determining seniority for government primary school teachers .

The Appellate Division has issued a status quo on the procedures determining seniority for government primary school teachers across the country.
At the same time, the court suspended the High Court verdict to determine the seniority of 26,000 nationalized primary school teachers by reckoning 50 percent of their service time.
A three-judge bench of the Appellate Division with Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique in the chair passed this order on Sunday (November 20) by granting the state’s leave to appeal against the High Court’s verdict.
