Militant snatching case: Idi Ameen lands in jail

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Debdas Chandra Adhikari passed the order on Friday (December 9).

Earlier, Muhammad Abul Kalam Azad, investigation officer and inspector of the Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit produced the accused before the court and pleaded to keep him behind bars.

Md. Ashraf, Sub-Inspector of Katwali police station in the court confirmed the matter.

On November 20, two members of the banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) sentenced to death in publisher Faisal Arefin Dipan murder case were snatched from police custody by their cohorts at Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate Court premises.
