Case on throwing stone at metro rail, probe report Jun 7

The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court (CMM) Court of Dhaka today set June 7 for submission of probe report in a case filed over throwing of stone-like object at metro rail, damaging a glass window, in the area between Shewrapara and Kazipara on April 30.

Metropolitan Magistrate Shanto Islam Mollik passed the order on Tuesday, accepting the First Information Report (FIR) of the case.

The stone-like object hit a glass of the running train at around 11 am on April 30.

The case was filed with Kafrul Police Station the next day. According to the case documents, damage of about Taka 10 lakh was caused due to the incident.

Nobody has so far been arrested in the case. - Special Correspondent
