Case in attack on Ex-US envoy: further report Jun 9
Court decision
A Dhaka court again asked the detectives to submit the probe report by June 9 in the case filed over the attack on former US envoy to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat’s convoy.
Metropolitan Magistrate Md Rashidul Alam of Dhaka CMM Court passed the order on Sunday.
Esarat Ali, Mohammadpur Police Sub-Inspector (General Recording Section) confirmed the media.
On August 10, 2018, following the attack, Shusashoner Jonno Nagorik (Shujan) Secretary Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar filed the case with Mohammadpur Police Station in the capital.
On March 1of last year, the court framed charges against the nine people in the case. They are- Firoz Mahmud, Naimul Hasan Rasel, Mir Amzad Hossain Akash,
Sazu Islam, Razibul Islam Razu, Shahidul Alam Khan Kajol, Mozahid Azmi Tanna, Siam and Oli Ahmed Jony. - Special Correspondent
