HC grants JKG Health Care Chairman Dr Sabrina bail

The High Court Monday granted bail to JKG Health Care Chairman Dr Sabrina Sharmin Hossain in a case filed over distributing fraud Covid-19 test report.
An High Court bench comprising Justice SM Kuddus and Justice Shahed Noor-Uddin passed the bail order.
Defense lawyer Masudul Haque confirmed the matter to the media.
He said the High Court has granted bail in this case until hearing the petition filed against the lower court verdict.
With this order, there is no bar for Dr Sabrina to come out of the jail, he said.
On July 19 last year, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain of Dhaka sentenced eight people including Dr Sabrina Sharmin and CEO Ariful Chowdhury to 11 years in three separate charges. - Special Correspondent
