CS submitted against 33 in Tipu-Preeti murder case

The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police submitted the charge sheet accusing 33 people in former Motijheel Thana AL General Secretary Zahidul Islam Tipu and college girl Samia Afran Preeti murder case.
DB Police Inspector Yasin Shikder, also the Investigation Officer of the case, submitted the charge sheet to the branch concerned of Dhaka CMM Court on Monday.
Later, the court fixed June 15 for next hearing in the case.
According to information, in the list of 33 people, Dhaka South Awami League Organizing Secretary Ashraf Talukder is included.
During the investigation, police found allegation against 34 people to be true. But, as the full identity of one Excel Sohel was not found, a petition for his acquittal has been filed. In this situation, chargesheet against 33 have been submitted.
DB Police Inspector Yasin Shikder, also the Investigation Officer of the case confirmed the matter to the media.
