Man to die for killing child after rape in Narayanganj

Narayanganj, Sept 17 – A Narayanganj court on Sunday convicted a man and sentenced him to death for killing a child after rape in 2021.

The condemned convict is identified as Mosharraf, son of Abdur Rahman of Kendua upazila in Netrakona district. The court also sentenced him to five years imprisonment and fined Tk 20,000.

District Women and Child Repression Tribunal Judge Nazmul Haque Shyamol handed down the punishment

According to the prosecution, Mosharraf killed the child after rape on October 23, 2021.

A case was filed in this connection with Rupganj Police Station. - UNB
