Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Tofazzal Hossain passed the order after the hearing on Thursday (November 2).
Atiqul Islam, the court’s bench assistant confirmed the matter.
On March 20, the same court sentenced Helena Jahangir and four others to two years imprisonment in the case.
Abdur Rahman Tuhin, Bhola district correspondent of Joyjatra Television filed the fraud case on August 2, 2021.
