Appoint 285 physically-challenged persons in pry schools: HC

The High Court (HC) has directed the authorities concerned to appoint 285 physically-challenged persons in government primary schools based on quota.

A High Court bench consisting of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Kazi Zeenat Haque passed the order on Sunday (January 14), declaring the rule issued in this regard as appropriate.

Lawyer Advocate Mohammad Siddique Ullah Miah stood for the writ while Deputy Attorney General Amit Das Gupta represented the state in the court.

The final hearing on the rule issued to appoint 285 physically-challenged persons in government primary schools based on quota ended on December 11 last year and then the court fixed Sunday (January 14) for the verdict.
