BNP leader Alal apologises to HC for derogatory remarks

BNP Joint Secretary General Moazzem Hossain Alal has sought unconditional apology to the High Court Division for his derogatory remarks about the judiciary on Tuesday.

The High Court bench of Justice Md Iqbal Kabir and Justice Md Aktaruzzaman passed order accepting the apology.

In the written statement, Alal said he will remain aware of delivering speech in the future. The court will pass an order a week later in this regard.

Earlier on April 19, the High Court Division summoned BNP leader Alal

to appear before the court in person on May 14 for his explanations over

the derogatory remarks on the judiciary. - Special Correspondent
