Dhaka, Jan 01 - Former Food Minister Advocate Qamrul Islam was placed on a four-day remand in two separate cases filed with Kamrangirchar Police Station.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Belal Hossain passed the order when he was produced before the court today.

Two investigating officers of the case Zahid Hasan and Palash Chandra Das produced him before the court with 10-day remand prayer in each case.

Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested Qamrul Islam from Uttara area in the capital on November 18.-UNB
