Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman is set to feature in Melbourne Renegades to play in Australia's Big Bash League (BBL) as the latest Bangladeshi cricketer.

Mustafizur, popularly known as Cutter Master for his mysterious cutter, a delivery that outfoxed most of the batters in the world has already sought a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

BCB president Tamim Iqbal confirmed the development to reporters today during the auction of the domestic D3 tournament, saying both Mustafizur and leg-spinner Rishad had sought NOCs to play in the BBL.

Tamim also shows a positive stance on granting them permission to take part in the Australian competition.

Rishad, meanwhile, is set to return to Hobart Hurricanes after featuring for the franchise in the previous edition of the tournament.

Rishad made his mark with Hobart Hurricanes last season, paving the way for another Bangladeshi player to feature in the competition, reports BSS.
