Army Stadium going to make its debut as BPL venue

DHAKA- Finally, Bangladesh Army Stadium is going to make its debut as the venue of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) when Mohammedan Sporting Club will take on Brothers Union Club in the debut match of this stadium on August 10.

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) today released the remaining fixtures of the ongoing league with five matches being held in the new BPL venue.

Mohammedan Sporting Club will meet Brothers Union Club on August 10, Chittagong Abahani Limited face Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society on August 17, Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra play against Mohammedan Sporting Club on August 24, Bangladesh Police Football Club take on Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra on August 27 and Mohammedan SC face Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club on the same day at the this stadium.

Apart from Bangabandhu National Stadium and Banani Army Stadium, the ongoing league matches will be held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.BSS
