Mosaddek to lead Bangladesh in 3rd T20 against Zimbabwe

Dhaka, 1 Aug -The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced Mosaddek Hossain Saikat as captain to lead Bangladesh in the series deciding third and final T20 International against Zimbabwe Tuesday at Harare Sports Club.

Mosaddek was named captain after Nurul Hasan Sohan was ruled out of the reminder of the Zimbabwe including the third T20 with an injury sustained during the second match. The Tigers which lost the first game by 17 runs, won the second one to level the three-match series 1-1, thanks to Mosaddek's career-best 5-20.

The physio said Sohan was ruled out for three week as he fractured his left index finger. Mahmudullah Riyad was announced as the replacement of Sohan.
Mahmudullah, originally the captain of the Bangladesh T20 team is now in Harare as part of the ODI squad.

He though was rested from the T20 squad, the team management included him as the replacement of Sohan but didn't give him the responsibility of the captaincy.
