Afghanistan secured a rain-shortened first ODI victory against Bangladesh, beating the hosts by 17 runs (DLS method) at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Wednesday (July 5).

The visitors lost two wickets in the chase of 170 against the host and need 81 runs more to win.
