Dhaka, 25 July - Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha faced a bitter experience with an Australian airlines as he had to wait an entire day after his flight was cancelled and also he ended up losing his bag.

Hathurusingha left Bangladesh after Tigers' series against Afghanistan to have a holiday with his family who live in Australia. The Sri Lanka born coach will return to Bangladesh before the training camp for the Asia Cup starts on July 30.

However, the vacation in Australia couldn't have worse for him.

His trouble began when Virgin Australia Airlines flight, which he booked to travel a city of Australia was cancelled a few hours before the scheduled flight and there apparently was not any alternate flight either, leaving him stranded for a day.

Hathurusingha relayed his ordeal on a Twitter post, which read: "I had the worst experience with #virginaustralia, cancelled the flights a few hours before take-off, didn't offer an alternative flight the same day, finally got on to the flight the next day then it was delayed, and ended up lost bag too."
