'Mujib Barsho' V-Day taekwondo to be held Friday

 DHAKA - 'Mujib Barsho' Victory Day Taekwondo competition
will he held on Friday (Jan 14) at Gulshan-Badda taekwondo club in the city's Uttar Badda.

   Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) President Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal
is expected to inaugurate the day-long meet as the chief guest, organized by
BTF, said a press release here today.

  A total of 200 participants -- 125 of men and 75 of women -- from near
about 12 district sports associations across the country, Bangladesh Army,
Dhanmondi Taekwondo Club, Mirpur DOHS Taekwondo Club, Mohammadpur Taekwondo
Club and Gulshan-Badda Taekwondo Club will take part in the different
categories of the competition.

  National Sports Council Secretary Parimal Singha is expected to present in
the closing ceremony as the chief guest and distribute the prizes. BSS
