BSJA media cricket kicks off tomorrow

Dhaka, 13 Jan -BSJA Media Cup Cricket-2024, powered by Bashundhara Kings, is set to roll onto the ground Sunday with different media houses of the country vying for eventual glory.

A total of 32 media houses participate in the knock-out basis tournament, split into eight groups. 

The Bangladesh Sports Journalist Association (BSJA), which organizes the tournament, arranged a press conference in this regard at the auditorium of Bangladesh Olympic Association today. 

The draw of the tournament, jersey and trophy unveiling was held at that time. 

Former Bangladesh captains Minhajul Abedin Nannu and Habibul Bashar Sumon, also the selectors of national cricket team were present during the programme. 

BSJA general secretary Anisur Rahman, tournament committee chairman Raihan Al Mughni and member secretary Robiul Islam were also present.

Bangladesh Television will take on The Business Standard in the first match of the tournament at 9am while at the same time, private channel DBC will face off Bangladesh Protidin. 

Media and communications committee chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Tanvir Ahmed Titu and former national captain Mohammad Ashraful will inaugurate the tournament.
