Brisbane, Australia, 26 Jan - Australia declared for 289-9 in their first innings late in the final session of the second Test against the West Indies in Brisbane on Friday, 22 runs behind the visitors.

Usman Khawaja top scored for Australia with 75, while Alzarri Joseph took 4-84 for the West Indies.
