Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, 6 Feb - New Zealand dismissed South Africa for 162 midway through day three of the first Test Tuesday and chose not to enforce the follow-on despite holding a first-innings lead of 349 runs.

Matt Henry and Mitchell Santner took three wickets each at Mount Maunganui while Keegan Petersen top-scored for the Proteas with 45.
