Bijoy, Mushfiqur, Yasir shine in 3-day practice game

Dhaka, 29 July -Riding on three half-centuries from opener Anamul Haque Bijoy, veteran Mushfiqur Rahim and young Yasir Ali Rabbi, BCB Green team put up 220-5 on day one of the three-day practice game against BCB Red team at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium here today.

The day one, however, was cut short by rain and only 63 overs were possible.

Anamul Haque Bijoy missed out his ton by 10 runs as he struck seven fours and one six for his 186 ball-90.

Yasir Ali Rabbi scored 58, while Musfiqur Rahim made 51. Jaker Ali Anik was batting on 12 with Mehedy Hasan yet to open his account at stumps.

Pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib was the chief destroyer with 3-35. Nayeem Hasan and Khaled Ahmed took one wicket apiece.
