Shakib, Shoriful help Bangla Tigers sink Surrey in GT20

Dhaka, Aug 1-Shakib Al Hasan and Shoriful Islam continued their good work with the bowling to help Bangla Tigers Mississauga keep in winning  spree in the Global T20 Canada.

Thanks to their performance, Bangla Tigers moved to the second spot in the  point table, beating Surrey by four wickets at Brampton, Canada yesterday.

Shakib who is leading the side took 2-21 in four overs while pacer Shoriful  finished with 3-11, also in four overs. 

As they shared five wickets between them, Surrey which elected to bat first  were bowled out for just 101 runs in 19.5 overs with captain Marcus Stoinis  top-scoring 209 ball-36. Logan Van Beek was the only other one to reach double digits when he made 31.

David Wiese snapped up 2-17 to complement Shakib and Shoriful. Wiese also contributed in batting as he struck 19 ball-27 not out to help the side win the game when Bangla Tigers were in deep trouble, being reduced to  45-5 in 12 overs.

For his allround performance Wiese was adjudged man of the match. He became 
man of the match in the previous match too, making its his second straight match-best award.
