Rain spoils Bangladesh field training session

Dhaka, 21 Aug -Heavy rain spoiled Bangladesh U-20 national football team field training session in Nepal prior to the group second match of the SAFF Championship, according to a message received here today.

However, the booters took part in the gym session to prepare themselves before Nepal match.

Bangladesh will take on Nepal in their ultimate group match scheduled to be held Thursday at ANFA Complex at 3.15 pm (BST).

Striker Piash Ahmed Nova said they have playing experience against Nepal in SAFF Championship and AFC Cup. He also admitted that it would not be an easy to play against the hosts as the hosts would get the home ground advantage.

Nova, however, found confident prior to the Nepal match and upbeat to give their maximum effort to win the match.

He said if his teammates able to play their natural game against Nepal, they would be able to bring out the result.

Earlier, Bangladesh reached semifinal of the tournament beating Nepal by 2-0 goals in their tournament opening match.
