Mominul Haque scored unbeaten 107

After the rain gave a chance to play some cricket in Kanpur, Bangladeshi batter Mominul Haque scored a century and helped Bangladesh post a total of 233 in their first innings.

At the lunch of day four, Mominul was batting at 102. After lunch, he could add only five runs.

It was the 13th Test ton for Mominul, the most by a Bangladeshi batter.

Bangladesh's Najmul Hossain Shanto scored the second-highest number of runs, 31. Other batters failed to impress in this rain-hit game.

Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets for the hosts in Bangladesh’s first innings.

Due to persistent rain and a wet outfield, there were only 35 overs of play on day one of this match, and the next two days were washed out due to the rain, reports UNB.
