Dhaka, 12 Oct --Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana Joty chose to bat first after winning the toss against South Africa in their last match of the T20 World Cup group phase at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the UAE today.
The Tigresses got off to the winning start, having beaten Scotland but lost the next two matches against England and West Indies that left
their aspiration to reach semifinals in limbo.
They, however, must win the match against South Africa to give them any outside chance to stay alive.
"It’s a great opportunity for the team to bounce back, Joty said after the toss."We started off with a win, but couldn't continue the momentum."
