13 Bangladeshi cricketers register for IPL auction

Dhaka, 6 Nov -As many as 13 Bangladeshi cricketers put their name for the mega auction of Indian Premier League (IPL), scheduled to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arab on November 24 and 25.

A total of 1,574 players registered for this year's mega auction after the player registration officially closed on November 4, the IPL authorities said in a statement today.

The list features 1,165 Indian and 409 overseas players, including 13 players from Bangladesh. 

Among these, there are 320 capped players, 1,224 uncapped players, and 30 players from Associate Nations.

The authorities have not disclosed the names of the players in the initial list yet. All of the initially registered players will not be called up for the auction. A final list will be announced later considering the demand of the franchises.
